With your mindset, you will never get to the point financially, where buying a new car is like most people paying for a nice dinner...you will always be poor.

Most people aren't rich to be fair and if you've got money saved up you can get a new car versus a much better car that's a few years old at 50% of the original value.

A car is seldom ever an investment, and if you can afford it without worry like it's nothing then why not buy a virgin car instead of someone's reject? It's like buying a used bed or couch, people probably fucked in your used car and now you drive around sitting in the dried up ewy spot

U might not be buying a car from a bb but a bb will be giving you rides. I do agree with U on new cars they do drop between 2 and 5k as soon as U drive it off the lot! That is why they want about 3k when U lease one.

Maybe you aren't eve a millennial and are trolling. Either way, you're probably not too bright.

There a million tips, but, I'll start with just one. Open the hood and take the cap off of from where you add oil(not the dipstick, where you ADD oil). If there is any whitish-grey slimy shit under that cap, or around the tube it screws into, you don't want the car. Hopefully, some more of the used buyers will chime in.

When looking to buy another person's reject and problems, be sure to test drive it to a trusted mechanic and pay him to go through it looking for the reason the owner no longer wants it. It's money well spent.
