Some one said AC were ruining the site. I think what phenomenon did here is sidestep the issue in my opinion. AC are fine and always have been. It's the permabanned head cases coming in as AC trying to get Internet revenge for years old grudges that ruin the place and threads sometimes. But, I have said my peace and proven my point. It's right and ppl know it's right. I'll let them rant and whine now Get real. Permabanned head cases exist on every site. It's the fucking internet. Grow up. Better to deal with asshats on an as-needed basis than throw the baby out with the bath water. ACs are the life blood of CT sites and user generated content in general. Don't like it? Go start your own fucking website. Many have tried. Many have failed. No web site is perfect, all suffer from cliquishness and raging egos. Again - better to manage that case by case than to consciously create a fucking boring-assed echo-chamber of fucking pseudo-intellectual, rascal riding, SNAP card shut ins. |

It is not just one or two posters and it is not just namefags. Many times they switch between the two. It used to be, years ago, the namefags were some of the best legit true posters. What I mean by that, is posters posting from the heart, not trying to push an agenda or a script. Now, most of that comes from the ACs more than the namefags. |

Been almost 8 years now, and still happy to try to do my part with a small contribution.
