It is a perfectly understandable statement to make act now BEFORE he can hit us, but how can you know that he is going to launch a missile at anyone? It's tantamount to paying your car insurance then being asked by your car insurance company that you also need to pay your excess as well so that when you have a accident that is your fault you have already paid the excess......how can they possibly take your excess when they do not know if you are going to have an accident in that 12 months.

Good point. The US would have to send massive ground troops to Korea, before they believe in imminent war.

We already have 50,000 US troops there.

The USA had 10x that many in vietnam at maximum and still lost. Not to mention that Vietnam didn't even have nukes. Not to mention that The USA was stalemated in Korea by basically a peasant army before.
