There is no legal reason for jeff to recuse himself.

Sessions is a classic "nice guy" and it's well know nice guys finish last.

Steps Trump needs to take are obvious:

(1) if Sessions is not up for the dirty work, sorry but he must go. Appoint a tough hard ass legal wolf as Acting Attorney General (acting does not require senate confirmation).

(2) appoint a trusted, ruthless, hard ass like Mayor Gulliani as Acting FBI Director (acting does not require senate confirmation).

(3) appoint one young, hungry, constitutional attorney as Special Counsel on Huma, Cheryl Mills, Podesta, the fake Obama birth certificate, IRS sandal etc etc. Turn hungry hounds loose on a dozen or so mid-level swamp creatures at same time. Roll up and indict for every small crime., don't wait on big indictment, begin rolling them up for sneezing in public. Will not be enough defense lawyers In Washington DC to cover all bases. The Swamp will be in chaos.

Classic asymetrical warfare.
