A lot of things in the bible are either not true, or are metaphors not meant to be taken literally. Or possibly God gave them some sort of divine protection that you don't have.

Its up to you. My brother thinks he has been made ill from fasting about 50 days. He was going on about Moses around the 50 day mark, saying its 80 days.

That was with water though and possibly food.

A fast in the Bible may mean giving up meat, not all food.

It's impossible to go even a week without food and water. You would pass out and be taken to a hospital where they would force you to eat. And you'd probably be checked into a psychiatric ward if you refused nowadays.

Hey, you might be able to go a lot longer on IV fluids, but that's cheating.

I 40 days no food and 3 days no water on sperate fasts. Still felt life. A little weak. But still strong.

Thought id say. Iv been feeding a baby herring gull water that is on a lower roof ( cant fly back up ) It seemed so thirsty in the sun. Tilting its head back to drink. Pretty awesome. Iv realised how annoying cats can be also. Iv made it my mission to guard it. I stay up till the morning anyway.

You can only know with 100% certainty that something is true if you yourself can observe it. Like gravity or the sun.

When you touch something that a menstruating woman has touched, do you immediately go shower. wash and change your clothes, and wash the object? Because the Bible says you must do that.

He fasted with water and no food but im just guessing he might have sneaked a piece of toast or tried to at the end. He went super skinny. Ambulance kept turning up because of other people calling. He declined then got up when they said I think his kidneys or liver was starting to fail. Then had to wear glasses for a bit.
