This is somewhat true. The problem is the GOPe or GOP establishment. Mostly the old crowd, with some new. The two main reasons I see are that many have sold out in an effort to raise money to maintain incumbancy, and they fear the DC leftist machine (most of DC, media, deep state, etc.) which has always been a bloodsport, but is now a weaponized bloodsport. We need to keep refining our representation by weeding out the self-interested through a continual and stringent primary process. We need to primary-out the Republican-in-name-only types such as McCain, Graham, Collins, and many more. It's a tall order.
