Because they don't bother correcting their children's pronunciation when they're little, and the wrong pronunciation sticks as a result. All little kids pronounce the "th" sound as an "f" because "th" is a hard sound for a child to make. Learned that with two little ones and much correction. Same thing with a "sk" sound.

Those sounds are the most work. They hate work.

Down south speaking professionally and conversing with a friend are two different things.

It's not an "accent", shit stain. Boofers butcher the English language with poor enunciation, poor grammar, poor linguistics, poor pronunciation. They mock, ridicule, and despise literacy and education. Go move into a predominantly black neighborhood for just 30 days and see if you don't change your simple, ignorant mind.

Holy crap, I knew it was culture, but it makes sense for hood kids to talk like this because they had horrible hood parents who like you me to ed weren't around to correct them.

I've lived in the south 65 years and Cighertigher speaks the truth. I have seen and heard examples of it. ease up on her.

There is a difference among the Blacks in how they pronounce certain words in the South , They either speak with a "urban" accent like they do in the North and major cities, or they speak with a traditional Southern Black accent. An example is the Urban "Yaa" VS the Southern "Yuh" for yea or yes.

I used to think they literally couldn't speak correctly because of physical impediments.

Xtra large lower jaw, lips and big forward pointing teeth.
Big wide noses and some pinching in above the mouth on either side of the skull structure.

Then I heard blacks in England, speaking like Brits do.

So, guess they're just putting it on like they do clothing,
and cars. They are differentiating themselves from whites in the USA with ghetto culture/accents.

Being illiterate doesn't help either with proper pronunciation.

You should hear white kids in London talking like them. Makes me want to slap 'em. They say laaak (like) every other word and words ending in y get pronounced eee, basicalleee.

Same reason white hillbillies say "ya'll" instead of " you all" and "you'uns" instead of "each of you". Namely, they're lazy and uneducated.

There's a difference between using word contractions and refusing to utter basic English sounds.

When a three year old says "birfday" it's kind of cute. When a grown negro says it it's disgusting.
