I didn't know it. We don't all see all threads. When someone posts something you already knew about, take into consideration others who haven't heard it. Plus, new people surf in all the time.

The catholic church could buy the US 10 times over. By the time the united states came into existence the church was filthy rich beyond imagination with holdings in swiss banks. Actually they have so much invested the swiss government uses its army to police the vatican. So money has nothing to do with this, however you could be onto something. Pope Benedict stepping down was unheard of so something definitely happened. I don't think obama clinton and soros are powerful enough to effect the vatican, however is they had something on the church, say pizza gate 2.0, they could force a change. By the way the church in america is doing great. Most "non profit" hospitals are owned by the church as well as several colleges. That is where they get their money from the church itself is declining the latino immigrants have helped keep the numbers up though. But again that does not make money for the church, most churches make just enough to stay open. The money comes from hospitals.

Don't know how accurate the allegations are or are not, but "progressive" makes a bunch of sleazy liberals sound somehow less contemptible and deranged than they actually are.
