Except there's no way they can win. Conversely, Ron Paul is a a Libertarian's Libertarian....only he happens to be a Republican....a Libertarian in Republican's clothnig if you like. If you TRULY want to have libertarian thinking in the White House, Ron Paul is your best bet...or is your agenda one in which you will only accept it coming from your OWN annointed ones?

Re: Let's discuss the Libertarians as an answer to two party system...
good point...and I agree...my only issue is that for years I have voted from a checks and balances point of view..in other words I've never like having both the executive and legislative branches controled by the same party...nowadays it seems to me that despite all the rhetoric the two parties (repub./dems) have grown so close to being the same that our checks and balances of the consitution dont really work so well..that is why I am looking at voting Libertarian across the board just to shake things a up a bit...

..the only way I see two right our ship is to support a third party like the Libertarians or the Green...the Libertarians have a little more traction than the greens so you may not feel as though your vote is wasted...anyone like the Greens?

The feds give money to local school districts. Getting the feds out of the equation implies that either your local taxes will go up, or your school's budget will go down.
