A righteous father knows the human body has a fear of suffering and humiliation but is willing to overcome the fear in order to suffer just like his physically bodied children do.

How could he expect us to suffer such grievous deaths and suffering if he wasn't able to go through it too?

He was showing us the way. How to live, die and receive the blessing of eternal life.
