Since there are supposed to be so many different ET species visiting earth [I've heard the number 57 used] why couldn't a galactic war be fought in and around our planet if there are already ET's in residence here? Rather like gangs invading another's turf to spread their own influence.

I saw something very similar at another message board, yes. It was the same scenario, just written differently. But, the person who wrote the GLP version clearly wasn't the same person who had written that version. The other was written much better, to say the least. But, it had obvious holes. Anyhow, the mods claimed the OP admitted to them it was a hoax, then banned that OP.

It was unlikely to be true, but possible. The alleged message to the mods must be taken as a grain of salt though, as years ago, it was determined that message board was affiliated with the US government and psyops, as the individual who owned it also owned a company producing propaganda for Iraqi news services. It's been a long time, so I don't recall the details exactly. I just remember that it was accurate enough to send me and a horde of others running from the site.

Wasn't it Werner von Braun who warned about a fake alien invasion?

He warned against letting THEM talk US into believing that aliens were nefarious. He claimed that one day, the "truth" would be released about UFOs, except it would be the complete opposite of the thruth.

The truth is that UFOs and their occupants are a natural part of creation. Throughout the Universe, or on multiple dimensions, or both depending on your ability to comprehend, there exist more races/species/types of beings than there are plants/animals/insects in the Amazon. They are "benevolent" in the sense that they are not malicious or invasive. They are simply waiting for our material mind society to "grow up" a bit, spiritually speaking, in order for them to be able to communicate with us.

Braun is not by any means the only person to speak along these lines. If you have read the book "The Disclosure Project" (not just watch the conference) you will come to understand the importance of our spiritual maturity, ie our graduation from current views of the "way things work" to actual Galactic reality.

Basically Braun new that one day, a threat would be fabricated and perpetrated on our society regarding our galactic neighborhood. Because of the complex (and genius) level of disinformation, it should be rather easy to pull off initially.

At a time when the world is on the edge of complete despotism and desparation stemming from the "War on Terror," we will be told of an alien threat. Reagan hinted at this several times, probably through his own manipulation, and set the meme in motion.

Once we are in a state of complete overwhelmed shock (think 15 minutes following 9/11) the World will unite and demand weapons be placed in space to protect us from these foes hell bent on destroying planet earth. Not really the case.

You can see the obvious goal here, which is not to keep out the "bad guys" but actually, to prevent any sort of future contact, assistance, or most of all evolution of humanity now trapped inside an Earth fortress!

To bad for the manipulaters that in the end it simply won't work.
