Supply chains are movable. Some take some effort and planning, but plastic packaging isn’t one of them. In the last 20 years, pharma manufacturing went from domestic US, to Puerto Rico, to Mexico, to China.

The supply chains moved with it every time.

LOTS of the stuff we get from China now can be easily replaced from elsewhere, or even domestically. In WW2, we went from a largely agrarian nation to the arsenal of democracy in just 11 MONTHS. Where there is will, there is a way.

In relation to the COVID-19 fuck up, if you want to see a TV show that in a comic way shows how people generally fumble in time of crisis watch the new HBO Series Avenue 5. It's hilarious.

This is my educated opinion. I know some disagree.

The proof lends itself to KY thoughts.

There are no worldwide outbreaks after months of this thing being a big deal in China.

Let's use logic as part of our evidence.

Most peoe do not even know they have it. Thankfully.

80% are mild cases.

It is between a bad cold and the flu.

It's only a big deal because it spreads rapidly. This is an inconvenience because people have to miss work for a few days.

Then the kids get it, of course.
Another inconvenience, because we have to stay home with the kids.

This whole thing should pass in a month or so as spring arrives.

In figure the threads will sloelynfade away with time. They already are to some degree.

There haven't been any other outbreaks outside of China.

It has been months. If this flu was a bigger deal then you would see many countries with outbreaks.

Logic tells us this. Remember. A month ago everyone said it would be widespread world wide by now. That did not happen.

Evidence is evidence. The proof was in the pudding.

China did a super job at protecting the world. Big kuddos to them. They learned from SARS.

Thankfully. This isn't the big one. We dodged a very real bullet.

I'm not worried. This too shall soon pass. :)
