A Circuit Breaker Stock Market Collapse Appears Likely
This week.

I'm looking for a gap down circuit breaker collapse which results in a free falling, no bid, three consecutive day 10,000 point Dow Jones wipeout.

Longs, Put Sellers, Call Buyers, are heading for the gutter now; the street gutters.

And many of your faces will be planted in them.

Something MUST give shortly, because inflation is becoming rampant. With no concomitant increase in wages, that tends to make people rather irritable.

I'm a rather lazy individual. So to answer your question, I trade and teach for a living, although I don't really have to do either.

There's a couple of Hawaiian dudes who hang here that trade the same way I do.

We post on message boards as an act of random kindness.

Trade safe and hold your loved ones tight. It's going to get really nasty.

A bank failure is not to far away now.
 Quoting: Aussie from Perth

50 million homedebtors

Probably 10 million of them un-qualified or marginally qualified to carry the mortgage.

$5 trillion in total mortgage debt that is suspect.

$1 trillion or so mortgage resets over the next few years.

God-only knows how much in MBS, CDOs, CDO squareds/cubeds pyramided up on top of the $5 trillion above.

Perhaps five million homedebting sheeple default, maybe even more.

Anywhere from $1.5 to $3 trillion wiped out in pure, raw mortgages not paid. PLUS the ripple-through effects to the above-mentioned MBS/CDO market.

Five million or more houses dumped on the market, which will be added to the ALREADY four-million houses rotting in the elements.

If these numbers are anywhere near correct, we are looking at the Mother of All Busts. It will take the mobilization of every central bank, GSE, printing press, government propaganda entity, and other shill and liar to just stave off a Greater Depression...

Trade safe or don't trade at all.

As you are entitled to yours, no matter how ridiculous it may be.

You're alluding to the DOW dropping to the 3,000 level in 3 days.

It won't in that short timeframe, although it's grossly overvalued, and should head lower over time.

I don't trade; I got my funds mostly in cash.

I agree it will get nasty over time.

If I may ask, how are you playing a wipeout next week, have you bought puts?

A wipeout would correct many years of excesses; it's just a extremely low probability event. Even a solid 20% wipeout would only take the DOW to 10,500. You're calling for a 75% wipeout.

hey WAX PAPER

i think you are full of shit.

HOWEVER. you may also be partially full of shit.

SO> Please explain how ANY system can COLLAPSE in the sense you describe. The FED has unlimited and unrestricted abilities to "Create" Federal Reserve Notes, which is the same as creating debt which by Congressional act is secured by the full faith and credit of the us sheeple's SWEAT.

Further Executive Orders signed by the head jackboot/pauper have created plunge protection teams which are authorized to do ANYTHING to stabilize the markets. Vast amounts of STOCK have been bought up in offshore accounts and companies like GM in particular have "sold" massive amounts of stock to only 4 unregulated offshore accounts.

what mechanism, given these facts, could create a DROP as you describe. The LOSS OF VALUE is happening faster than could be imagined, but it is INVISIBLE to the stupid.

what do you benefit by befuddling the confused?

Central banks won't be allowed to fail, but smaller ones will have problems, FDIC notwithstanding. FDIC will prevent runs on banks but not red ink. Stock market will decline in steps, not all at once. Maybe 3,000 with a dead-cat bounce to bait the suckers before the next fall. Probably end up around 6,000, but they may be able to milk it for one last drop. That way, a handful of people can own it all - which is the intent.
