You must have private information. There is no information on the Internet connecting Daryl Anka with Scientology, let alone his ousting from the organization. Regardless, what does it matter? What is your point in bringing that up?

Daryl Anka frequently points out to those who listen to him that the most important reason for him or those listening to his "channeling" is in the value of what is said! Does it help you in your overall understanding of reality?

That is not to say that I am without reservations. I myself find Bashars' information very helpful. I also find it to be in harmony with the sages and saints of our world. However, it is on the fringe and his channeling happens through commerce, which is an earmark of charlatans.

I do not posses good speaking skills and perhaps I am impressed with his ability to effortlessly deliver long streams of coherent thought on complicated ideas. Never-the-less, I will continue to listen to him until I see fit to do otherwise.

Would you be able to answer an advance mathematical problem from the top of your head? A better test would be if Bashar could answer something only you could know.

i had a private session with bashar/ darryl at his home in l.a. i had the same idea, to pose a math question. surely, being quasiphysical and able to go back and forth in time and dimension, he could get his hands on a calculator and tell me the square root of 13. hell, he's told a woman that theres a high probability one of her long lost parents lives in l.a. and the other has moved. he cleverly avoided answering the question and made clear that he was in a ship that uses consciousness to navigate and didnt use numerical calculations. grrrrrr.

ok i dont really care if he is fake or not but... say you are trying to save 10 people right you could only talk to one person say they had a radio in their head and have been traped under ground with food right so your trying to get them out but can only talk to one person. Would you really answer the question of what a math problem is even if you could answer it if they just kept yelling to the person your talking to is a fake and nuts? Most people after a while would say screw the people who don't believe let them die if they are just gonna bicker and hold back the people who want to believe. thats my take on it seriously why would they waste their time answering your stupid pointless testing questions when they have better things to do. there is nothing he says that you cannot discern for yourself by getting direct contact with 'the source'.

it is the 'name' of the source which has been the source (pun intended) of contention that prevents our direct access to the source.

I think david_dickhead is BS. I think Benny Hinn is BS.

But some of these so-called New Age teachers, "channelers" such as Darryl Anka -> Bashar or Teal Scott, I am far less skeptical about and am very inclined to listen to and consider what they are saying.

If Anka is "faking" it, I still have to say he is incredibly good and my bottom line is that you should judge via the *content* of what he is saying rather than whether or not it is really from an alien source, etc...

Now... the stuff is indeed hard to swallow especially for those with skeptical minds. But here is what I find rather compelling:

1) Bashar, Teal Scott, Hicks, "Law of Attraction", etc... seem to be honing in on some sort of commonality among their teachings. If the stuff were 100% contrived, concocted BS, I find it hard to believe why there is so much similarity. I am more inclined to believe that they are all trying to deliver ideas and teachings about some common "Truth".

2) Many scientists are still loathe to admit it, but the fact is that quantum mechanics, the end-product of a long line of inquiry done by the scientific-rational method, has overturned its own metaphysical foundations!

The materialist-realist philosophy from where our science sprung up from is now found wanting and inadequate to explain the very stuff which that same science has discovered! This does not mean that every new age quantum gobbledygook you hear about is necessarily true, but it also means that the hardcore "skeptic's" philosophical worldvew has already been proven - *by science itself* - to be WRONG, WRONG, WRONG.

3) Listen to Michio Kaku - a respected scientist and science popularizer - talk about the parallel realities implied by quantum theory and you will note that what Bashar says is pretty much in line. Now... Darryl Anka _might_ be just mimicking what Kaku has said - it would be interesting to research if Bashar just started talking about parallel realities nowadays roughly the same time as Kaku, or if he has been saying stuff like that since the 80s, when such popularized accounts of quantum theory have not yet gone mainstream. But the thing is, just because something is very hard to swallow is NOT an indicator that it is BS. We all believe the world is round and that voices can be transmitted invisibly throughout the air, don't we?
