Message Subject Who are the Two Witnesses?
Poster Handle Spirit of LIES
Post Content
All men have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.

The wages of sin is death.

if A + B = C and C - A = B then C - B must = A

If all men have sinned and the wages of sin is death, then all men must (at some point) face death.

The bible speaks of two men who have not, as of yet, experienced a physical death. In other words, they have not paid the price for their sin - yet.

These two men are Enoch and Elijah.

If God does not lie - and he does not, then these two men MUST, at some point, pay for their sinful nature through death.

Moses died and his body was buried - he was 120 when he DIED.

The olive trees are the same as the two lampstands and the bible is clear that these two things are:
1.) The Hebraic people, the children of Israel.
2.) The true church, those who believe in Jesus Christ.

Enoch was a gentile, born before Jacob, who became Israel.
Elijah was a jew and a prophet.

Malachi promised that Elijah would return, it is sad he did not mention the other witness.

God made a covenant with the jews
Jesus made a covenant with the gentiles.

These two are the two witnesses to the world of the glory of God.
