I have no respect any more for Larry King, and think he should be pulled from the air.

Every mother in the world should call for his resignation.

Not only was Marie going through her fainting episode from Dancing with the stars...

Her father just died,

Then Larry King divulges her 16 year old CHILD's medical information w/o giving her a head's up on INTERNATIONAL tv!

What a disgrace to the human race!

I vow to never watch another Larry King Show in my life!

KING OF AMBUSH BLINDSIDES MARIE ON 'REHAB'
By MICHAEL STARR
Marie Osmond (above) was stunned by Larry King when he revealed on the air that her son Michael had gone to rehab.
November 16, 2007 -- LARRY King never warned Marie Osmond that he was going to question her about her teenage son going into rehab.

The usually soft and cuddly talk-show host got all-Mike Wallace on Marie, sources say, to get even with her for agreeing to stage an Osmond-family reunion show on "Oprah" instead of his CNN show.

Marie and her brother, Donny Osmond, were on "Larry King Live" ostensibly to discuss the recent death of their dad and Marie's much-publicized turn on "Dancing with the Stars." "All about the music!" King said in his introduction.

But after a few minutes of chit-chat, King suddenly turned the tables.

"I want to bring up a serious note, but something that deserves to be said, to see how you're doing," King said to Marie.

"I know that you have many children . . . and I know that Michael is in rehab, right?"

"Yes, uh-huh," a stunned Marie said, caught off-guard. She then flashed King an angry look. "How did you know that?"

"I was told," King answered quickly.

"Oh," Marie said, regaining her composure and going on to describe her 16-year-old son as "amazing."

Insiders say Donny Osmond was so furious at King that he threatened to pull the show before it aired.

"Donny was angry and was going to tell Larry he couldn't air [the show]," says a source.

Soon after, "Entertainment Tonight" was "confirming" Michael's rehab stint.

The video of King's question, and Marie's reaction, spread like wildfire on the Internet yesterday.

King apparently has been working on the Osmonds for some time to celebrate their 50 years in show biz on his show, sources say. And he was disappointed when the family elected to go on Oprah last Friday instead.

That show drew Oprah's biggest ratings in a year, incidentally.

By late yesterday, Marie was in a forgiving mood.

"She knew this information would eventually come out," her spokeswoman, Marleah Leslie, told The Post.

"She hopes this can be helpful to other families who are facing the same issue."

Sources say Marie was not ready to go public with the news - especially since her son, Michael, is 16 and still a minor.

And King is not saying how he'd learned the family secret.

"Larry never discloses his sources," a "LKL" spokeswoman told The Post yesterday.

"And there are no ground rules to Larry's interviews."

King's father-in-law, Karl Engemann, is also Marie Osmond's manager.

Engeman's daughter, Shawn King, is wife No. 7 for King.

Friends on "DWTS" say they knew something was up this week before the show. It now appears that's when Marie learned her son was going into rehab.

Can anybody verify this post from YouTube?

Would Larry's father-in-law "manage" a public apology from Larry, OR do you think he was Larry's source????

IF he were the source of info to Larry, I'd fire his ass in a New York minute!

Marie should have walked off in disgust.
America would have cheered!!!
Marie's manager is Larry's father-in-law. I hope he "manages" a well deserved public apology to Marie from Larry.

I heard when he was interviewing Dana Reeve (Superman's wife) about her lung cancer, he said something like "We'll be back after the break and talk to Dana Carvey about her lung cancer"

Larry wasn't talking about HER personal life...he was talking about her CHILD'S personal life, then asked her how she was dealing with it.

He could have posed the question differently without divulging the child's medical issues.

I am grown up, her son isn't, and shouldn't be fair game for the media to discuss his personal medical concerns...

Thank you very much.

I can't believe CNN is airing this.

Saw Larry King at the Bevery Regent the other day - having a late lunch or brunch on Sunday. The voice gives his presence away. The wife was there with a couple of little ones and the nanny and some network people all seated around a huge round table and other than our party on the other side of the room, the dinng room was nearly empty.

Even in private, the guy is a loud-mouth pompus ass! He was bitching at the waiters, and complaining about everything all through the meal. His voice boomed over the room without amplification. In general, I found myself thinking "hmmm... so this is what vulgar truly means and what it looks like!"

The wife - who is 1/3rd his age is attractive enough. She knew enough to pop out those kids no matter what his age. That's her ticket to security and comfort for the rest of her days - with or without his earning power. He may dump her if he lives long enough, but he can never dump those kids no matter what. She'll be supporting them with his money in the style which he can afford NOW, not matter what the future may hold for his career.

The nanny looked confused and tried to keep the kids quiet. Didn't work, but she tried.

What he did to Marie Osmond is no surprise. Her kid going into rehab is no surprise either. Whats the big deal about it? Mormons with money can get into trouble with drugs just like anyone else can.

No shock there.

He's just a coarse and mean-spirited man. Plain and simple. Why he's been on the air forever is beyond my ability to comprehend. I see nothing interesing or unique in what he does.

He's disgusting. Ever notice how he hangs up prematurely on the callers?

About a year ago I was watching him, the discussion was about some medical issue. A caller was on the phone, talking about her medical 'death sentence'. King was totally non-sympathetic, acted like he didn't care and didn't even understand, and hung up on her abruptly.

The looks on the faces of the guests on his panel was incredible.

He sucks. Period.

Larry's divulging of a minor's medical condition is unforgivable....it really doesn't matter if you like or dislike Marie Osmond.

Personally, I have been saying for several years that Larry is really losing it. When he first appeared on CNN, he was mildly entertaining. As the years have past, he's further lost touch with the real world. His questions are softballs. He never has any followup to a provocative answer and his general knowledge is zilch. He knows a little show biz (of the old old school variety), lots about horse racing, and sports.

His appeal eludes me. Now, he really seems that he's borderline senile.

Besides all that, he's a loud mouthed know-it-all old poop.

CNN is having a time dealing with loose cannons like King, Glen Beck, and Nancy Grace.

All three are making a career out of personal attacks on those who are having problems or, in the case of Beck, accusing Ron Paul of 'terrorism'
