spaceweather.com is reporting a crack developed in the magnetosphere today.

Can confirm OP is right, at least from this link. All other images appear to be updated except the west coast. Current UTC is 1:46AM July 23, 2021. The images appear to be last updated at 5:31AM, July 22, 2021.

Lol. Yes, GOES does go down from time to time. But the coincidence of the timing is pretty interesting. Different opinions is all.

Been using GOES for almost 20 years, first time I remember something like this, outside of the satellite switch over some 6 years ago, even then they gave a heads up it would be down, but odd both units NASA/NOAA are down.
