He is probably referring to the fact that Iran will no longer accept US dollars for oil payments. They now require 'other' currency that has not lost value as the dollar has. Same thing happened in Iraq just before our invasion there. They started accepting other currency for oil instead of the dollar. What a lot of people don't realize is that the dollar used to be the only currency used by nations to buy oil. That is what propped the dollar and kept it afloat. If countries start using other currencies to buy their oil, the dollar will continue to fall more and more. Basically, the trade of dollars for oil is what has kept our dollar valuable. If that stops, our dollar plummets.
