Interesting stuff. There are two names, also. One uses the name YHVH, the other uses the name El, in all of it's forms. El Shaddai tells Abraham to sacrifice Isaac. The Angel of YHVH stays his hand.

There are two writers in Genesis. Look for the book "Who Wrote the Bible" by Friedman. I don't agree with his conclusions, but he has good info.

Also genesis 1:26 says god said “let us make man in our image, after our likeness.”

"By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh."

Ge:1 is God's version of creation, it covers 4B years, the witnesses are called angels.
Ge:2 is the Holy Spirit's witness of the garden area as witnesses by Adam. Eve was the cast thing created.

another thing I think that sticks out to confirm your theory is the title's themselves.

1st there is GOD
then there is mentions of LORD GOD

I take it to be a blatant indication that there are 2 supreme figures being spoken of and referenced to, not by name but by rank/title.

GOD = higher among the two titles
LORD GOD = ranked under the title of "GOD"
