The spelling mistakes make it so easy to distinguish morans from total idiots. Each time i see a Yankee using there instead of their i jizz my pants.

What about Germans who use i instead of I?

I have atleast an excuse, english not being my mother language. But I´ll keep it in mind, I just think it looks stupid. Also in german, the word "ich" (I) is written in small letters.
Not as bad as the idiots misusing "they´re" for "there" or "their". Or "You´re" and "your". It´s ridiculous, my english teacher (Ms. McKenzie ^^) called anyone who did this a total idiot.

Certainly, we have more than our share of total idiots in this country. There are many very brilliant "Yanks" as well, however. I believe the problem is that our society doesn't celebrate those who succeed at anything other than sports and acting. A person may spend untold hours studying and obtaining a good job which pays well, and he has somehow become one of "them" -- the ones who have caused all the problems for the untold masses who use their free time accomplishing nothing more important than downing a case of Bud and getting their names displayed prominently on the leader boards of video games.

Same here in Germany too. That´s why i am a lot at GLP, have you noticed that most Germans (and people from other non-english countries) here speak (write) english quite well. That shows me that i talk to intelligent people, and not total idiots as they are prevalent in most german conspiracy forums.
Lots of crazy germans here aswell though. :D

And of course spelling is not the most important factor to determine someone´s intelligence. The posts and their context are. But from my observation, people not knowing the difference between there, they´re and their are idiots most of the time. And then there are legasthenics of course. ^^
