I like the way the OP thinks. He sees "Titor" as an information exercise to reveal specific things about future plans. JT seemed strangely prescient and even when he was wrong about specifics he seemed quite informed overall.

If events since 9/11 have taught me anything, it's that humans are very easy to program in terms of their responses:

Set people up with a terrorist event and they'll demand revenge - at any cost.

Set people up with faked data about a certain country's involvement in said event, and they'll demand an invasion, no matter what the consequences.

Set the populace up with faked data about the planet's climate or oil supply and they'll demand action.

Then give them some new toys, houses and fashions and they'll demand the credit to pay for them!


What I'm saying is that certain aspects of human psychology are so easy to manipulate (especially if your population is totally ignorant of history... or the outside world!) that the results are fairly predictable.

Thus if you're in a position to manipulate these factors, you can predict the results with some precision. All the factors to cause the events of the past 7 years were in place long before 9/11: they just needed the right trigger.
