‘US security services did not investigate Prince Andrew's links to paedophile Jeffrey Epstein because he was a member of the royal family, a lawyer representing the billionaire sex offender's victims has claimed.

Lawyer Lisa Bloom told the upcoming US documentary Secrets of Prince Andrew that the FBI did not take action over witnesses who could be interviewed about the Duke of York's potential connections to Epstein.

Ms Bloom, who represents five of Epstein's victims and a witness who says she saw Andrew with accuser Virginia Giuffre as a teen, said it was decided that those at the 'highest level' decided not to 'go after' the Prince’
