people do that all the time down the road from my place usually in the middle of the night they're called burnouts. Its usually some idiot bogan in a Holden doing it. Oh and a bogan is someone who is classed as trash and a drain on society in this country. I can't stand these pieces of trash.


I think you got hold of the wrong end of the stick. OP is talking about those stupid spinning wheel trims that keep on turning after the vehicle has stopped. They are hazardous, because, spatial awareness or not, they create conflicting messages and could (and do) cause other drivers to react to a situation that may not actually be occurring. A good driver is always taking on board clues as to what other drivers are doing. These spinning trims are hazardous. In fact, I thought they had been banned in UK for this very reason, but may be I'm jumping the gun a bit. Perhaps it was only talked about.
