In the UK they had cults that sacrificed children and other humans to corn and oak for good crops. In the Northern parts where Vikings lived they tortured and sacrificed people for religion. When Rome took over they incorporated Human Sacrifice into their new religion to quell the masses of savages who practiced these things. Romans were no angels their workforce was slaves and their economy was genocide in war. |

I will not go into wether He was a human sacrifice or not..I think if anyone hasnt understood everything yet they are probably not bright enough to ... the mistake you made is the following: This too is a Fact Rome was pragmatic and did not care what religion was practiced under its domain..except for one small particular Rome absolutely prohibited Human Sacrifice It was absolutely Prohibited under Roman rule. This is a FACT Not that it didnt happen, many cultures hid it..pretending they were in fact sacrificing animals..making it such that the way they religious building were built they acted as sound barriers..and also visibility barriers..so Rome remained in many instances unaware at was was going on behind the walls in a few of its provinces |

The ancient Romans interpreted the favor of the gods as justification to perform ritual killings. |

When Rome took over they incorporated Human Sacrifice into their new religion to quell the masses of savages who practiced these things. Romans were no angels their workforce was slaves and their economy was genocide in war. Men in Rome used little boy slaves as sex objects. They had Gods that had to be worshiped under law including women forced to act as temple prostitutes and men being forced to go to one of these. Roman men were free to enjoy sex with other males without a perceived loss of masculinity or social status, as long as they took the dominant or penetrative role. Acceptable male partners were slaves and former slaves, prostitutes, and entertainers, whose lifestyle placed them in the nebulous social realm of infamia, excluded from the normal protections accorded to a citizen even if they were technically free. Freeborn male minors were off limits at certain periods in Rome |

The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! "This is He of whom I said, 'After me comes a Man who is preferred before me, for He was before me.' "I did not know Him; but that He should be revealed to Israel, therefore I came baptizing with water." And John bore witness, saying, "I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and He remained upon Him. "I did not know Him, but He who sent me to baptize with water said to me, 'Upon whom you see the Spirit descending, and remaining on Him, this is He who baptizes with the Holy Spirit.' "And I have seen and testified that this is the Son of God." Again, the next day, John stood with two of his disciples. And looking at Jesus as He walked, he said, "Behold the Lamb of God!" The two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus. John 1:29-37 |

Week before ressurection he entered Jerusalem on donkey and people shouting "Hossana to David King" (not sure translation). Believe me any country in world today would take carefully such event. |
