Are you being LIED TO about what your BLOOD PRESSURE should be? | |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 86265104 United States 03/14/2024 05:46 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | YES, we are being lied to about blood pressure. TPTB lower the blood pressure, more will need blood pressure drugs. Win for pHARMa, more drugs sold. Blood pressure numbers are like speed limit signs. Catch more speeders or more patients need pHARMa drugs. As one ages, one needs higher blood pressure to push their thicker, ropey blood through their veins. While pregnant, my blood pressure was 120 over something, don't remember bottom number. My doctor was amazed and said most would wish for my blood pressure. That was considered low blood pressure. It is normal for 20-24 years old. And please consider WHITE COAT AUTHORITY. Blood pressure rises with medical presence, while taking blood pressure. Blood pressure is much more individualized. |

Anyone know? ………… For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.….. |

The Systolic (top number) is important for stroke... The doctor's used to say 100 plus your age for the top number is normal and 80 mm Hg is normal for the bottom number... They keep on lowering it so that they want you to be on BP meds for the rest of your life... |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 14267443 United States 03/19/2024 11:38 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | My BP was always 120/80, which was considered normal back in the 80s. The diastolic had to be over 140 to be considered borderline high. Ever since salt has been demonized, people have cut salt intake to the detriment of their health. Salt conducts electricity which sparks your heart to beat. Low salt = increase in heart attacks. Salt holds the water in your body, increasing blood pressure. Low salt = low blood pressure. They've lowered the standards for high blood pressure to hide the damage caused by low to no salt intake. |

My blood pressure is in the 145 range, and I found a good video about blood pressure control. It was about taking ground flaxseed powder every day to lower it. It can go on yogurt or oatmeal to make it easier to take. I will have to start this. |
