He was the son of Zacharias and Elizabeth, and a relative of our Savior, whose way he prepared by his preaching in the wilderness and baptism in the Jordan, whence he was called the Baptist or the dipper. (Matt. iii. 4, 5; John i. 19, &c.) The time and place of his birth and death are not certainly known. The place of his birth is said to have been a little town in the mountains of Judaea, four miles from Jerusalem, which has received his name; but some modern travelers fix it at Ambaa, a town in the mountains of Judah, six hours' journey from Jerusalem. |

Bible is 100000% perfect and God's Word In the Gospel of John, there is a story about a wedding at Cana, where Jesus and his disciples were invited. When the wine ran out, Mary asked Jesus to help. Jesus initially replied, "Woman, what does your concern have to do with me? My hour has not yet come." (John 2:4) Despite this, Jesus went on to perform his first miracle, turning water into wine. |

Based on the biblical account of the crucifixion and other historical sources, some scholars believe that the event occurred on April 3, 33 CE. This date is consistent with a lunar eclipse that occurred on April 3, 33 CE, which would explain the darkness that reportedly occurred during the crucifixion. |

No, does not explain, because a lunar eclipse does not cause darkness. It blocks out the light of the moon and can only be seen taking place after dark when the moon is shining. It would have to be a solar eclipse that causes darkness during the day, like we will see on April 8. |
