Unused to hear replays of old shows either before or after the new show. I liked them both. I just like Art Bell.

Then some person or another had his shoes on YouTube. It was copyright violation but it was nice to hear them again.

When I had a cat I would talk to the car in my Art Bell voice.

These are the things that bind GLPers together.

I really enjoyed Art's show when I first discovered it in '98. Listened to it quite often in the lead up to 2000 with all the world-ending scenarios, Y2K and the like.

Perhaps I wizened up a bit or just got older and bored with hearing the same dang topics repeated ad nauseum with little to no resolution.

Lots of folks out to make a buck, shilling their books and products, playing on our fears and insecurities.

George Noory is like a kindly elderly uncle, a nice fellow but he's past his prime.

I can see though how Coast-To-Coast is popular with new listeners as the material may be new and fresh to them.

He told scary stories, huh? And his voice sounded like he was really scared. They sounded like they might be true stories too.

Anyone might dislike something like that.

He was the BEST in his time, and ever since.

Art was a pedophile and there was a reason why he moved to Manila. As for the guest hosts used now, the very best guy died and that was Ian. I can't stand the stupid bitch on there, the Canadian guy tries.

Part of the problem with the newer hosts is their bumper music choice. Nobody wants to hear their personal preference or promotional new bands. We want to hear the same classic music Art Bell played. Period.
