Re: HELP! Legal Straw Man and Sovereignty UCC-1 theory valid?
I have a very high student debt loan (approx 130k) can Straw Man redemption work with something like that? If not does anyone have any ideas of how I might lower my payments or even get some or part of the loan dismissed. I was reading in a thread that if a PN can not be furnished then I am not liable for the debt. Is that true of school loans and how would I find out if the lender in fact has the PN. come to think of it I dont remember signing a PN for the loans.

People will tell you that it can be done, but no one has ever been able to cite a case for me that it actually worked in court.

So, the answer is no.

I haven't had any experience with student loan deferrments using the techniques described with the UCC thread.

If the student loan goes to a collection agency, the UCC techniques would apply as well. I have had some experience with state taxes in this regard. Some states are using collection agencies for taxes and it seems to work although I haven't seen it result in a discharge at this point.

I would suggest that you contact the loan issuing agency and request your complete file, including the original note If you want to scan it (black out all personal information and numbers) and post somewhere I can take a look and see if you have any avenues open to you.

Keep in mind that a lot of people are dealing with high debt and some relief has been available but you will probably have to do some negotiating. I wouldn't do any of the strawman techniques as they have no track record of success that I know of and it might fuck up any future efforts towards a goodwill negotiation of your debt.

Most so-called "Redemption" information is worthless.
I would be careful with it.

P.S. Get a fucking job and pay off your fucking loan. People like you are draining this country dry.
