How to convert music to 432 hz in audacity

440hz to 432hz is less than a semitone.

what for?

After playing a couple songs at both pitches, I've concluded they sound almost identical. If there is a conspiracy here, it is that people believe the concert pitch was changed for some sinister reason.

as two posters said, it makes almost no difference if the original sample was recorded at 440hz. if you re sample it to 432 hz you are just changing the pitch and interpolating. you are just "stretching" the music and filling the gaps to make it fit in 432 hz, but the sample is the same.

i've just tried that thing with audicity and foobar. songs converted in both programs sound different and more realxing.

now i how no idea if it is real 432 converting or just changing the pitch but i can hear the difference and feel less nervous when i hear particular songs

I downloaded the free audacity program, after installation it wouldn't allow me to do anything by clicking on "effect". What did I do wrong?

Ok

Import a file into Audacity

then Edit "select all"

once selected, then you will be able to access the Effect> Change Pitch. Just change the From: [440] , and to: [432.186] fields

foobar is installed....

look up a semitone/ pitch converter on the internet, do the math (440 to 432) it = .318 of a pitch shift so you actually want to do

-.318 semitones. not .35, not .32 like others were saying.

even with .318 its not perfect unless you can shift by more accurate amounts with more decimal places.

if you master tune reason 4 to 432hz for midi,
pitch shift all samples by -.318 in acid pro 7 & record a guitar tuned to a=432hz ref pitch with a digital tuner

then yes, there its very useful & necessary to do the pitch shifting or the different elements of the song you make wont be in tune with each other, or more importantly wont SOUND in tune.

so do the above if that's the kind of thing you do and you can record/create songs ez in true 432hz.

So what is the reason you are changing songs to 432? I read this whole thread and still don't see the point.

432HZ is a Natural Resonance Fibonacci (The Math behind the Sound) / Solfeggio (The Sound behind the Math) Frequency.



When Its at 440HZ (The Industry Recording Standard) - Its Unnatural and not compatible with Our Natural Biorythms and Frequencies.

Re-sampling it to 432HZ - While just slightly slowing the Piece down and adding a small amount of time to any recording - Seems to only enhance the Sample rather than degrade It...

That alone makes One wonder. The Sounds seem Fuller and more Vibrant. For Me - I can hear things in the Songs and Samples converted that I was never able to before.

can i record any of my music files and recordings to 440Hz? I reckon sounds at 440Hz are great! Please give details how this can be done anyone.....

When did Concert pitch change?

Most music worldwide has been tuned to 440 hertz since the International Standards Organization (ISO) endorsed it in 1953, following the prior recommendations of the Nazi party spoksman, Joseph Goebbels in 1939.
Suffice to say, I will not waste good energy down the rabbit hole of conspiracy to expose another Illuminatti agenda, however I will quickly state that there was an organised effort to change Concert pitch to 440hz well back at the start of the last century to codify a New World Order of central pitch.

Of course there's going to be a marginal sound difference. You're missing the point: Which is bringing the vibrational frequency of the music in line with the frequency of nature.

I've been using Audacity to convert my music. Since it takes about half an hour per album to convert, I think the criminal globalists win. Because, while they continue pillaging the world and eviscerating my rights, I'm still sitting here converting my music.

While I don't disbelieve the 440 vs 432Hz deal, I think it, just like open air rock concerts, ultimately boils down to a big distraction from the important issues.

You can heal yourself with music all you want to, but doing so will neither defend your rights nor save the Earth.

Now I'm going to waste more time looking into the Soundtouch plug-in so I don't have to convert the rest of my music.
