Hey all, First post here so take it easy on me. Lets say the dollar crashes and things well lets say become crazy here in US. If Gold and Silver become the money trade and I have a bag of pre 1964 silver coins how many would know what it is worth in a barter situation? Would it be better to have a coin that has its silver content stamped on it for barter? Or do you think that when that time comes the general public will soon learn how to figure the silver content of the dime, nickel, and the quarters. I don't know why but not having the silver content on the junk silver bothers me over having a silver eagle or round with 1 ounce stamped on it. I would like to get over that thinking because, silver eagles are pricey if you can find and junk silver is just barely over spot. Take me to school, and thanks ahead.
