He was part of funding and organizing the attack on Beslan. Putin took great offense to the attack on children, even moreso that it was organized from some within FSB. For this Lit. deserved a special death. Too many people underestimated Putin's ability to "get the job done", it is his greatest skill. To think that Lit. felt he could mock Putin from abroad and remain "safe", was a sign of his stupidity.
