9/11 and gun control - opinions wanted.
To those of you who believe that the government or other factions controlling the government were either the masterminds or somehow complicit by proxy or otherwise to the attacks of 9/11 and also run/fund/fabricate the group Al-Qaeda and that these same people according to various unifying conspiracy theories want Americans to submit and lose their constitutional freedoms and at worst be put in camps or have martial law/curfews at some point in the future, please tell me why it is you think these people have not used the perfect excuse of radical Islamic terrorism to disarm you through shock?

After 9/11 imagine if there were say two shootings a month for two years perpetrated by young olive skinned men or women in American shopping malls, supermarkets, movie theaters, schools, sports games, rock concerts etc that's less than 50 patsies the CIA has to find to get waxed by SWAT teams and they could inflict a high psychological price on the American public. Of course I do not want such a thing to happen but I'm just thinking if there was a conspiracy why not kill two birds with one stone. Disarm the public while blaming it on Islamic sleeper cells and lone radicals who so hate America and her freedoms.

In fact if the wool were really being pulled over everyone's eyes, those responsible for the conspiracy could even pretend to foil larger more complicated plots on the same scale of 9/11 while these brutal sporadic and almost unstoppable gun attacks are taking place bi-monthly to make the gun owning public think that they should do their duty and give up the weapons as the anti-terror teams are doing their jobs by foiling the larger plots. what do you think?

Also, imagine for a second that 9/11 and the embassy bombings in Africa etc were as the official story goes carried out by primitive, religious fanatics. Why has there not been any of these guys in America shooting at crowds of innocents? surely that is more shocking and menacing than threat of another Christmas time video/audio message of someone claiming to be Bin Laden?

Thoughtful, relevant comments welcomed and incidentally speaking as a non American I think you gun owning Americans should hold on to your guns at all costs.

I believe it's because disarming us wasn't the intention of 9/11.

We had a newly appointed president with very low approval rates, who employed nwo idealists under him. He had and agenda laid out starting with Iraq and Saddam, but none of the support....

so what do you do?

You orchestrate an attack that has the potential to distract and inflame the patriotic passions in the citizens. Nothing else would've had the same effect.
After we all hypnotically watched the towers go down and believed without question who we were told was responsible, we all of a sudden put all our faith in the president AND his aggressive agenda....enlistees by the hundreds flooded the recruiting centers and everyone and their brother boosted the economy by purchasing all those USA flags and bumperstickers...

The plan was executed exactly as hoped.

Disarming us will be the last step....as it will be the most difficult.

Thanks for your reply Sireen. While I will not agree or disagree with your opinions on 9/11 I should clarify that I didn't suggest that gun control was a principal or secondary reason for 9/11, I'm just curious to know why gun control was not factored into it as a perk or to make things easier for certain dark forces further on down the line. Killing multiple birds with one stone.

When Obama gets elected you'll see a "surge" in anti-gun related propaganda.

"Random" shootings will increase. They'll focus on the young children victims the most due to it's obvious psychological effect.

I called our state police here in Illinois to ask a question on a transportation legality.

The trooper on the other side asked me if I wanted to hand over my weapons, in a joking but not joking manner (if you know what I mean) at least five times.

"You sure you don't wanna turn it over" Are you sure" "You're aware of all the gun violence here right"? "You can turn it in, it's really simple".

...No, I'm not exaggerating...

That's how the call went.

Finally, he answered my real question and that was it. I wish I had it recorded it was un-real.

Because to try and disarm us BECAUSE of 9/11 would backfire. We were told who our enemy was, followed shortly thereafter by the Amthrax deal, and reminded that we have homegrown terrorists and 'muslim' extremist here on our turf....to try and disarm us with all this other information floating around would've been counter-productive.

The LAST thing people will want to do is give up their guns, when they are told we have enemies within our borders.

The ONLY way to get people to get rid of their guns is to change the constitution (which they tried and failed ONLY because of a handful of Constitution loving judges who will soon be out of the picture), then from there, regulate who is allowed to have them and why (aka state militia, military, etc). From there, all the folks that join the military/militia to have their guns would then be used to disarm the rest of us, WITHOUT government accountability.

Let them try to disarm us and they will face the new American Revolution! It is our right to bear arms and bear them we will!
