Why the Hell Do I See "9-11" Everywhere?

It's been happening to me since about 2007/2008. It started when my then wife and I were having an argument and I noticed the time was 9:11 p.m. That scenario happened several more times over a fairly brief period of time. We have since divorced (not because of the 911 issue). Over the past four years it has become very troublesome, seeing 911 on clocks, license plates, odometer readings, yada yada. I take it as a warning of sorts, that the path I'm trying to pursue (related to jobs, relationships, geographic locations, etc...)is the wrong path for me. I've literally cancelled interviews because a car with 911 on their license plate had pulled in front of me on my way to the interview, and opted not to go out with someone because they had 911 in their address, and have made other choices based on whether or not I have seen 911 related to that choice. It has become problematic, almost OCD in nature. I certainly experience a lot of anxiety when I see 911, and have developed avoidant behavior related to what I associate the 911 with. I'm not a very religious person, but I do have a strong belief in God and try to live a spiritual life, and I can't help but to wonder if somehow God isn't behind this phenomenon, trying to steer me in the right direction, or at least away from the wrong direction? OR, as noted by a previous post, maybe 911 has simply become imprinted in my subconscious mind, and now I'm subconsciously very vigilant about noticing every possible occurrence of 911 or 119 or 191 in my daily life, especially when I am experiencing indecision while trying to make a life choice regarding a potential job, partner or location. Maybe I should just focus on 320 in an effort to "change the channel", or maybe I do need to re-examine my life path and pray more for God to reveal his will for my life? I guess it wouldn't hurt to try both approaches. In the meantime, it was cathartic to put this in writing, and I hope it is helpful to someone.
