Shiva the destroyer/Cern
If you google Shiva the destroyer/Cern they had a
statue of Shiva there when they flipped the switch to that thing. This fact gives me the creeps. Anyone have any
other opinions on this? Shiva the destroyer "presided" over
this, they said. They being the scientists. Cern a
ritual? Oppenheimer used a similar analogy with some
god...name begins with a "V" Things that make ya go hmmmm

Maybe they are thinking that statue will get rid of those mini-black holes if they don't vaporize :p

Here is a link to an article on the statue. It looks like she is coming thru a portal or stargate to me - but isn't that what the Large Hadron Collider really is anyway?

Shiva as we know him today shares many features with the Vedic god Rudra and both Shiva and Rudra are viewed as the same personality in a number of Hindu traditions. Rudra, the god of the roaring storm, is usually portrayed in accordance with the element he represents as a fierce, destructive deity.

Re: Shiva the destroyer/Cern
The statue of Shiva given to Cern is Shiva in cosmic dance form, Nataraja.

Nataraja
The cosmic dance of Shiva
Nataraja (The Lord or King of Dance)

is the dancing posture of the Hindu god Shiva, who performs his divine dance as a part of his activities of creation and destruction. Nataraja is most often depicted through a statue. The sculpture is usually made in bronze, with Shiva dancing in a aureole of flames, lifting his left leg, and balancing over a demon or dwarf (Apasmara) who symbolizes ignorance.

As the Lord of Dance, Nataraja, Shiva performs the tandava, the dance in which the universe is created, maintained, and resolved.

The upper left hand contains Agni or fire, which signifies destruction. The opposing concepts in the upper hands show the counterpoise of creation and destruction.

Shiva's long, matted tresses, usually piled up in a knot, loosen during the dance and crash into the heavenly bodies, knocking them off course or destroying them utterly.

The surrounding flames represent the manifest Universe.

Re: Shiva the destroyer/Cern
Within Lord Shiva's dancing manifestation is represented not only all of time and space, but also the primal creative force that is beyond the circle of illusion that mortals live within, all movement and vibration of the universe, and the stillness beyond all existence.

The entire form of Nataraja can be seen to mirror the Hindu sacred syllable Aum, thus implying that Lord Shiva's dance of Destruction and Creation is contained within the existential principle of the Divine Sound.

So it would seem that the goal is eternal oblivion.
Aum is the sound of nothingness, is that correct?

Re: Shiva the destroyer/Cern
I just about fell outta my chair when I saw the picture of
shiva along with this cern thing. I sometimes go to that
bravenewworld blogger guy...he's a bit weird but I began
to see a pattern with the things going on in the world and
such. Especially when he talks about 9/11 being a huge satanic ritual with the two twin towers being symbolic of
the two pillars, etc. It was as if everything clicked for
me--that more and more we are seeing things that are secretly ritualistic. So when I saw that news report of
Shiva the destroyer presiding over this Cern thing...

The syllable (AUM) is mentioned in all the Upanishads..set forth as the object of profound religious meditation, the highest spiritual efficacy being attributed not only to the whole word but also to the three sounds:

A (a-kara)
U (u-kara)
M (ma-kara)
of which it consists.

A-kara : means form or shape like earth, trees, or any other object.
U-kara : means formless or shapeless like water, air or fire.
Ma-kara : means neither shape nor shapeless (but still exists) like the dark matter in the Universe.

When we combine all three syllables we get AUM which is a combination of A-kara,U-kara, and Ma-kara.

Still a bit too much amorphous matter for my tastes.
I prefer my molecules remain intact.

If I understand correctly (I usually don't) Shiva was a He disguised as a She while doing the Nataraja dance of destruction. Then during the dance, He-She reverted back to He to finish the dance.

Yes, they were correct having that there. Shiva is the black hole at the center of our cosmology. Note the blue arms. Galactic core bursts are blue raylike bursts. Note the four arms of shiva showing the four directions. That's the show it's place at the center of the astrological/astronomical wheel.

It's really pretty obvious.

All cosmologies are when you realize God is the galactic core/black hole.
