Last week, I went in for a cleaning and expected the usual lecture but my hygienist was shocked to see how little buildup I had and absolutely no perio issues to address. |

The baking soda will clean the teeth, the hydrogen peroxide will whiten and kill bacteria. Your mouth will foam up like a rabid dog but after you rinse everything will be fine. |

You know I use it and I don't feel that it is abrasive since it dissolves very fast at the beginning of brushing. The most abrasive is the Silica gel in regular toothpastes since silica is basically sand and we all know how abrasive that is! |

One could be that your ridges are shallow and the brush bristles are able to remove the bacteria. Did you have sealants placed on your molars ever? You might have thicker enamel and have a less acidic diet. Perhaps water is your drink preference over soda pop. Shall I go on? |
