The same could be said for the porn industry or even the whores in the US CONgress who pander for anyone with a big enough checkbook. Or with religion that seems to legitimize child abuse (Islam, Judaism)or that is so repressive that not a month goes by that some pastor/priest is caught doing something evil or perverse.
Extremes exist in all segments of society. The in your face gays are just as bad as in your face religious idiots who are for the most part psychopathic. Politicians are the worst of the lot for they continually lie to the people they are sworn to serve and criminally enrich themselves via insider trading/knowledge while screwing over the masses.
