No, Arboriel, you don't sound like a broken record. a tsunami, even a fairly massive one, would only hit certain areas. A large enough ice sheet could, yes, flood a number of areas, but THAT flood would drain away fairly quickly, and would only hit areas within a certain "zone" of where the ice sheet broke, not the entire world.
From what I can peice together it was a couple thousand foot wave that traveled up all the coastlines....
Cetainly not your 40 day rain out but a poplulation leveler non the less.
And ice age glacial tsunamis...now there's an interesting phenomenon!
