I think I understand now what you mean, Kanigo. Perhaps it is a matter of semantics. If I replace your use of "judge" with "discern" it makes complete sense to me.

To be a judge of man is not to declare them innocent or guilty but to know them intuitively, where they come from and where they are likely to go. One knows who is an honest man and who is lost, knows who is seeking truly from the heart and who is just looking for attention.

I meet a person, listen to what they say, not just their words but what is behind the words, and "judge"/"discern" who they truly are.

I can tell now within a few minutes which posters on here are either the same person, or from the same mindset, whether they know each other or not.
