I need to know everyday stuff like how to get a driver's license.. what to expect when apartment hunting, etc... everyday stuff. Thinking of the Vancouver or Toronto area.
Toronto gets snow all winter which is a downer and Vancouver gets rain all winter which is a downer.
I guess if you like "big city" life it's your choice. For me, I'll stick in my little 30,000 community.
I did live in Toronto for a while but didn't like it.....a nice place to VISIT though.
wrong. toronto hardly had any snow last winter. only 2 snowstorms. it was no snow till december,
I know that....but Jan/Feb was steady, regular snow. Torontonians cried like babies during one of the blasts they got in Dec. of last year.
Quoting: Full CircleAs someone who gets more than 3 feet of snow in Quebec... I know that the foot of snow that Montreal usually gets when it's only 500 km south of where I am is kind of cheap and easy to live with. So, I suppose that what people in Ontario get is much less... that must make it quite easy to live with.
