The Elect here mean the 144thousand Israelites and Tribulational saints who did not receive the mark of beast

Here is the calculation: 6000 yrs divided by 7 yrs = 857.14285 cycles. That remainder 0.14285 is exactly 1 year.
Therefore Jesus will return on the last Sabbath Year... exactly 1 year ahead of man's allotted 6000 years!
For those who are watching... knowing the Sabbath years is crucial to watch for the possible beginning of Daniel's 70th Week. The Sabbath years are 2008/9, 2015/6, 2022/3....
