Nobody gives a rat's ass what folks choose to do in their bedroom (except possibly some homophobic asses). However, why does homosexuality NEED promotion at all?

Some of these kids probably haven't been talked to about sex yet. It is the responsibility of the parents to teach about sex, not the schools responsibility.

If sex ed it needed, still, what the hell would that have to do with homosexuality?

The homosexuals that feel that this should be taught in schools are going to cause a backlash against all homosexuals. Seems to me that homosexuals should be trying to stop this because it is in THEIR best interest.

I think they are trying to teach that it is not wrong to be gay. Not how to actually be gay.

I know it may be hard to tell the difference sometimes, but accepting gay people does not actually make you gay.

Their teaching our kids to basically be tolerant to those that are conceived as being different.

I can't say that that is a bad thing.

If the subject was about people who are horribly disfigured, would you assume they are teaching kids how to be horribly disfigured.

What about cancer, what if those videos were showing them teaching our kids that people with cancer are just like you and me, would you assume they are training our kids to have cancer??

If this bothers any individual that much that person would have their child either home schooled or sent to a private school.

That is why those options exist.

Uh, I don't think homosexuality can be compared to cancer or being horribly disfigured. I have two kids, so I can say it is a bad thing. It is not the schools place, it is the parents place. SEX should be left our of elementary schools altogether.

Maybe it's time for people to understand that being gay or lesbian is actually a matter of energy and incarnations.

Some incarnated the opposite sex may more times in their past lives than their actual sex, leading to a kind of difficulty to express and live by their actual sex energies.



But for most people there is a fucking long way to go to understand that.
I think most gay/lesbian people will agree and understand what I mean by the "difficulty to express and live by their actual sex energy".

As a Gay male, I agree with the OP.

Sexuality and sexual relationships do not need to be taught to young kids. If the little ones have early questions, it is the parents job to handle that.

Once they become adolescence or young adults, appropriate public service lessons like anti-hate and mutual respect would be great. I'm speaking mainly of teaching them not to hate, but not how to have a gay relationship or how that works.

Believe me, if a little one grows up to be gay, they will be able to learn what they need to know, they do not need to be taught that in elementary school

If you're uncomfortable about the idea of your children having sex, which they one day will, then dont have children. People need parenting classes, I'm serious.


the problem is 1.) We need parents to come together with the movement going on right now if you didnt see it so we can restructure our governments laws so we can make a sane standard of living for us all.

2.) affordable transportation/electricity (house heating)

3.) Legalize fucking marijuana already

I'm gay and I agree with the other guy - this isn't needed in school since... yeah, we're gonna learn anyway.

There IS a gay agenda, but come on people, there are two things you should know about it:

1)Most gays aren't even involved with it. It's mainly activists.

2)There are so many kinds of agendas that you probably can't list them all. Christian agenda. New age agenda. Large government agenda. Sci Fi nerd agenda.

We all wish to increase our range of who we can influence, and also decrease others' resistance to our influence. It's a human thing, not a gay thing.

See, if the school teaches it then I have no choice in the matter and neither does any other parent. If the parents are left with that responsibility then the parent can teach (or not, in your case) any thing they want.

Do you understand how that gives you more, not less, choice in the matter?

If a group came in saying they have a video titled "It's OK to be Heterosexual" and showed a mom and dad kissing, role play a traditional wedding,, and showing famous people thru history who were straight, I wonder what the reaction from the School Board would be????
