Could it be that seeing she's a Senator from the State that controls 30% of the US economy, she has some influence.

I disagree with many of Boxer's positions (especially on gun control), but she is an honorable senator. I will not forget that she was one of only TWO democrat senators who supported Russ Feingold's resolution to censure President Bush!

She is not the best that California can do. I feel totally locked out of the political process when I think about how powerful she is. I have never and WILL never vote for her.

What gets me about, Sen. Dianne Feinstein, is that she states in regards to the 700 billion dollar bailout that 91,000 letters from her constituents were sent to her. Of that, 85,000 TOLD HER, to vote against the bailout.

85,000 out of 91,000 were against the bailout......her constituents!!

That`s 93%, of her constituents against the bailout.

What does this lovely lady do?

Despite her grace and eloquence...she claims her constituents don`t understand the situation and she voted for the bailout for the bankers.

I`m still numb from this and at the time I was infuriated.

When I saw her, heard what she said, my jaw hit the desk. Who the HELL does she think she is? I hope there's a massive backlash against her in CA. I doubt there will be, but they need to see that she's a rogue who does as SHE pleases, and does not do the will of the people.

Well obviously she has no obligation to do what her constituents tell her. You vote for the person because you feel they will do the best job and do your bidding for you. If people are against her they will vote her out. Apparently she was worried more about this situation than losing her job. Think about it.
