That plane in question is built by Bombardier formerly DeHavilland. I have flown the old DeHavilland birds and they were/are nasty handling pieces of shit in icy conditions. The propwash goes right over the wings giving it a chilling effect. Ice builds up quickly when you are not expecting it.
Then suddenly all you can see is the ground coming up at you.
