HORDES OF MUTILATED CATS SHOWING UP IN TEXAS NEIGHBORHOOD !!

This has gone on for over a year, with a new cat just recently found dead in a park. There were numerous killings at people's homes a year ago. Now this is happening again in the same city! This person (or people) have been loose and I am absolutely disgusted!

A disturbing case of animal cruelty only steps away from an elementary school.

Corpus Christi Police Dept. Sgt Jason Lee says, "I found a cat that has been severed in half and the 2 halves are seperated about 15 feet apart here in the field it appears the entrails from the cat have been removed."

The mutilated cat was discovered in middlecoff park in the 6600 block of Long Meadow this afternoon, only feet from Club Estates elementary.

You may remember, the city was plauged with several cat mutilations back in August of last year. Its unknown if today's incident is tied to last years mutilations, still, Corpus Christi police officers say this is a disturbing crime.

Sgt. Lee says, "It would have to be somebody who was pretty sick I assume to have to torture and kill an animal in this manner."
