Grew up in AL. Now live far far away.

The '60s are over. I'm talking about the 1860s. At least for me anyway.

I don't mind snow. I don't even mind shoveling it.

What I am concerned about is what life would be like if I lost heat or power in January or February during a snowstorm.

Having your pipes freeze is no fun. And that would be the least of your worries.

I don't miss the mosquitos. I loathe those things. That and the humidity. Nothing quite as disturbing as AL in the summertime. You can hear the bugs buzzing and you break out in sweat as soon as you step outside.
