WHY DO PEOPLE HATE George Noory ?? :(

why ?? reasons or facts please ?!

he seems to be a OK guy so just saying.......

I listen every morning and thought his shoe was great until a couple of days ago..

He had a caller that was debunking time travel with valid theory.....Norry cut him short and disconnected the call.

The next caller seemed very intelligent as well and all Norry did was try and derail the caller then cut the call short and went on to the rest of the show...

I still like the program but am paying more attention to what he is doing when someone of intelligence calls in.

If a loony calls in he gives them a lot of time to try and sound sane.

no name can't speak English.

Also, he is very apathetic towards his guests and his profession.

That is why he gets no respect.

By the way, Art Bell is making a comeback.

George has a good set of pipes and knows the business aspect of radio very well. However, he does not have on-air talent. When Art used to have interviews he would many times allow the interviews to run into the breaks b/c the conversation had achieved a certain depth. George's conversations are as shallow as the kiddie pool. I suspect that he has someone write questions for him and he simply reads them off note cards. In the hundreds of interview that I have heard between George and a guest, I have never once heard one go beyond two volleys. The vast majority of times Georges' response is as though he does not listen to what his guest had just said. This is why I belief he uses note cards.

One of the reason that he never runs over into commercial breaks is b/c of this lack of depth. It is easy to keep a child from drowning in a puddle.

Please George, either resign or get promoted to some television job. You know that you would prefer a daytime television position. There is no shame in it, you would make a great station manager and you have made a fortune in the last five years. There is shame however in pedaling this corporate BS as quality radio. Allow the night owls some entertaining radio.

George knows, and most other know. that the only reason C2C is doing so well is because there is no competition. Please George move on. You are not a bad person, and you have skills, just not on-air radio talent.

I don't really hate George, but he's just got some big shoes to fill- I don't think anyone will ever top Art Bell. IMHO, Clyde Lewis is close (check out his Ground Zero radio show and podcast), but he's not on C2C. George seems a little too condescending to me, and he always talks over the guests and laughs at his own jokes, which I find annoying... Just my 2 cents!
