I know womeone who worked for the dallas morning news and will ask them if they remember anything like that.

No offense,but Ft.Worth is a weird place anyway what with every major criminal gang in the country operating there (including the Chinese Mafia) and it's pretty much tornado alley's end of the line,meaning tornadic stuff goes on their while the rest of the area is calm. Noone I stopped and talked to were like me, a typical southern US citizen. Yes, there were several nationalities among those I asked for directions. It was as if they didn't know they were in Ft.
