Bluegrass, jug band, old-time country, swing jazz, western swing, early blues, etc. Not a popular opinion, I know... Quoting: Anonymous Coward 772324Old Time Country music is awesome, not this urbanized garbage of nowadays. Bluegrass is good as well. SirThrustsAlot User ID: 727223 United States 09/18/2009 10:49 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | mainstream 90's rock vs. mainstream 2000 rock.. no question 90's rock. but the underground is where the bands are that are re-defining what it means to rock. Quoting: EnergyThe Fall of Troy... unmatched talent + unmatched energy = unmatched rock. Not digging the vocals. The rest was not bad, not bad at all. Anonymous Coward User ID: 701520 Canada 09/18/2009 10:57 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | as the years pass, more and more sampling and re-recording (covers) are being done. I think we are running out of ideas musically. Since this decade started music has become less about real musicians and more about the package. The most popular artists today (and I use that term loosely) are all american idolesque. It is one giant karaoke contest. I find most of todays music repulsive, particularly top 40/pop. I can't stand rap either... Ive tried to no avail. |
