Hi Energy...yes for almost 6 years til I met my hubby. He has treated him as his own for all of these years, and I have nothing but respect for him because of this. It takes a REAL man to do this. :)

Aw don't listen to those jackasses.

I'm one of your regular opponents on the religious battlefield but I know the difference between being "on duty" and just posting some thoughts.

You look great for 32, I had you pegged for twentysomething from your avatar.

You are obviously a brave and strong woman to raise a kid when you were still one yourself.

And now he's going to college, could end up doing something important, could end up changing the world... you never know.

And you raised him alone for more than half a decade, then met a man who loved and accepted you both.

You're a lucky woman TX, kudos to you.
Thanks for the post, made my morning.

Wow, I can't believe that my son will be graduating this year. I am very proud of him, but when he mentions college and going away it hurts.

I know I should be proud and I am, but I can't stand the the thought of him leaving....

I was 14 when I had him...yes 14...a rebel and in a way I'm glad I had him young. Why? Because now that I've been through it all I can actually tell him to not make the same mistake (No He Wasn't A Mistake, My Foolishness Was) as i've already gone through it, and it wasn't easy.

Just thought I'd share this with you guys...

Much love...TX

Each universe, that was an expression of what we recognize as "present", still exists and will always. The kinetics of time starts at infinite expanse, because of the nature of the mathematics of the function of expanse (multiplication and addition) this infinite female kinetic structure gives birth to universe after universe in a constant flow of current feed. These universe iterations have only one domain they can travel to and that is toward infinitesimal. Well, there is only ONE infinitesimal singularity, which is itself another infinite kinetic structure, but more so, it is also under infinite motion. This motion of the infinitesimal singularity is what created the infinite expanse by the way.

That whole rib out of Adam analogy creating Eve.

Once an iteration of a universe has been expressed as a "present", its current flow continues through and becomes a past and is actually located "deeper, down, and in" in the direction of infinitesimal.

That's where time has gone. Every future universe is approaching the present from infinite expanse, it resonants all matter as it strikes all the mathematical formulas (you, me, plants, boson particles, galaxies) as instantaneous present, then it continues its motion "down the rabbit hole" in the direction of infinitesimal.

Oh, sorry... you meant family. Smile inside and out realizing you did your best to fulfill what we were all put here to do. Create finite vessels for the opportunity to have the Infinite commune with them so by that the Infinite can become greater than infinite by also being finite, in an unlimited number of variations, times and instances. (Man... that'll take forever to accomplish... yup) It will also take forever for each finite conciousness (you, me and our children) to grow and become infinite (heaven).

Ah I know exactly what you are going through. Thank Goodness you don't (i am assuming )have to face the onslaught of menopause along with this...as is my fate. I lamented over my kids leaving home, cried, felt extremely depressed and guilty, questioning if I had been a good enough parent to them for the time I had them home, I always think no I could have done much better. But the babies leaving us is almost too much to bear, I know and I feel for you...I don't think it is anything you really ever get over,. You will become accustomed to that fact they don't live at home with you anymore, but the fact that your child has reached adult hood and is now to strike out on their own in the world we can't really face because it is too scary for us to let go,we lose a part of ourself and we of course lose them in a sense. One thing this has taught me about this life event, be happy for your child that they are spreading their wings and going for it.. my kids I could sense got tired of me being sad about them leaving, "instead", they told me "Be happy that we are living life as we are supposed to and we are enjoying being young adults and this transition in our lives right now." I had to agree with them and be happy for them yet I still am saddened at the loss of their child hood dependence on me and the close proximity they were to me. The emptiness and lonliness will subside eventually as time drags on.. MY heart goes out to you....

Re: I'm 32 And Have A 17 Year Old Who Will Be Graduating This Year...Where Did The Time Go?
“Judge not, that ye be not judged.” (Matt.7:1) This is where we get the biggest idea of not judging in our heads. But notice the Joseph Smith Translation, (JST Matt. 7:1-2) “Now these are the words which Jesus taught his disciples that they should say unto the people. Judge not unrighteously, that ye be not judged: but judge righteous judgment.”

This puts a whole new spin on it. So we DO judge, we just need judge righteously. That doesn’t give us the go ahead to run rampant in the streets and judge anyone and everyone. That doesn’t let us condemn people, for as Jesus told the Jews, “He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her”, (John 8:7) in essence we can judge for ourselves what is right for us, but not what is right for everyone else. Jesus continues; in Matthew 7 to say DON’T focus on the mote in someone else’s eye when you have a beam in your own. First we must take out our own beam.

We are commanded to judge righteously. I know some people might say, “That’s not right! We can’t judge, you’re wrong!” But our eternal progression is based upon us judging EVERYTHING for ourselves and choosing that which brings us closer to God. WE CHOOSE FOR OURSELVES.
If we do, in fact, believe that this life is training and preparation for becoming like God through Christ, then we have to judge. Again, that doesn’t mean we can treat people like unwanted pond scum or deflated balloons. Jesus also said to love everyone and to have charity and long suffering. Can you still talk and befriend the drinking group at work? Of course. Christ came to save the sinner after all - [link to www.examiner.com]

Do not get me started with the Mormons! Please! I was a Mormon. I know all about it! Joseph Smith was a Freemason on a presidential quest. He had the bright idea to start a religion to get votes. And when he came crawling back to Missouri after being kicked out, he hid in a building and cried out "Is There No Help For The Widow's Son"? A Masonic quote! And was killed for trying to claim, and take over Missouri as the new Jerusalem. One night after trying a personal, prayer alone in my room, I was awoken by that feeling that somone was in the room. It was not a good feeling. I felt something was wrong. My phone rang with a telephone number that started with 666-****.(still have the number saved in my phone) I was blown away! I went to a frinds house to tell the story. When I returned, what do you know! Two Morman missionaries were at my dore after not being active in the church for years. So with had happened I invited them into my home. I told them about my views and the story and was very open to what they had to say. It seemed like a sign. But considering my prayer the night befor was me swearing my allegiance to God and offering myself to be used to desrtoy the Devil, I concidered this a test. So we talked, and I was OPEN to comeing back to church. But the one older missionaries was in such a hurry to get back to having doors slamed on their faces (even though the new green horn rookie missionary was open to talk) he just wanted my phone number and said they would call me. There I was, ready to go back. And he didn't have the time!?!? Mormons are some of the best people I have ever met. But they, out of all, are a businss based Religion. Asking for 10% of your family's income monthly. Even if you are dirt poor. And for what? Their temples and inner circle? I knew that they were a test. And it was them, not me that failed. The Mormons do alot of great things; to keep people coming and to keep them from going. Mormons, alone with the RCC are among the wealthiest orginizations in the world. "Render to caesar that which is caesar's" just does not seem to apply to them. Mormons are some of the weathiest land owners in the world. They own, or control much of Las Vegas. There is too much to say here. Time for a new Thread! Look our Mormons!

TXGAL, I understand exactly where you are coming from! I'm a bit older than you, and my "baby" just graduated from college, but it's quite a "wake up call" to realize how much time has passed. You sound a bit like me, enjoying your children at every age, and I'm here to tell you, the joy gets better and beter as you watch them walk strongly into adulthood! The worry increases, too, though, so be ready for it. I'm very happy for you in reaching this milestone with your son. Regardless of your situation when you had him, you have loved him and done your best to "raise him right", I am sure. No mother could do more, no matter her age.

yes, it makes sense that you were involved in sex at age 14..

most of the self proclaimed chrsitinas I know, have a very undesirable past , full of bad decisions from a moral point of view.

this is why religion attracts many people like this. It gives them a feeling of being a better person when they comapre it to their wild reckless past....religion also allows these hypocrites to go around and critisize and condem others for their immorals or bad choices.

Most christians I have known display the following past habits ;

sexually active at a very young age, and/or very whorish in their sexiual activities

drug users

robbers

alcoholics

strippers

prostitutes

felons

etc...

A true chrsitian does not need to go around and constantyl declare they are a chrsitian, nor does a true christian need to go around and tell others which religion they need to worship or tell others how they are such sinners, etc .

this forum is a perfect example of how most christians, are nothing of the sort.

Some of the other self proclaimed chrsitians on this forum were strippers or addicted to porn, etc...

christianity may very well be the biggest joke religion ever invented because of its endless absurdities, hypocrisies and because the christian cult members are masters of doing exactly what their bible and god and jesus, tells them not to do.

and if that doesnt top it off...my favorite thing about these cult members, is their never ending ability to claim :

I AM A TRUE CHRISTIAN....BUT OTHERS ARE NOT , EVEN THOUGH THEY SAY THEY ARE.
