What do white women think of the White male fascination with Asian women?

This is my experience with my Asian girlfriend

I can understand both side of the story. I have a whore non-relative who think she is our relative and then screwed up my parent marriage. I think it is a balance no matter who or what you are and if you are compatible. Sad to say but some of my friends are gold diggers and it is not only to do with their nationality. I think it is more of a culture thing. Who has watched Cinderella growing up? In the other countries, there are some ideas given to them. I am getting a college degree soon and I find that a smart man has a smart woman behind the scene. My friends who have college degrees want a good happy family and a good career whereas my friends who is waiting for prince charm aka Mr. Loaded are more into partying and waiting. The one that like easy get easy. It is the same saying about the good apple being harder to reach and that happen in every nation.

Asian women are a godsend to the hopeless beta male nerd, though my brother who is a major alpha male with all the trappings is married to one LOL. These women actually respect intelligence and creativity, how odd.

I personally don't find them as physically attractive, but I do love their personalities for the most part. The quiet politeness, the respect, the intelligence and the drive. They are not weighed down by feminist brainwashing and yet are often more successful than their white American female counterparts.

That makes up for any other deficiencies.

For the record, I'm an Asian woman married to an Asian man so I don't presume to know the dynamics of a relationship between a white man and white woman. However, having been around white woman (whether that was just growing up and going to school with them or working with them) I sense that they don't appreciate their men all that much. The difference I hear when hanging out with white women vs. hanging out with Asian women is the language used to describe their husbands/boyfriends. White women tend to berate their man's intelligence, call him an idiot, expect a lot, is sensitive over the smallest things, and so on. I'm just amazed at how much they need their man to cater to their emotions and wants. Meanwhile, I see that their men (white) appear to be very competitive in the workforce, pushing to be leaders and over all ambitious. Isn't that a good thing to have men that want to be at the top of the totem pole? I find that to be very attractive and wouldn't mind being the stay-at-home wife whose role was to keep the house tidy (or have a career, whichever). Maybe it's just my Asian way of thinking but I don't think of myself as submissive for wanting to perform my role to the best of my abilities as long as my husband was performing his role. We both do our part to keep the family and house running smoothly. I don't understand why white women give their men so much grief and think so little of their men's intellectual capacity. I think white men have accomplished a lot so where white women get the idea that their men are idiots is beyond me.

When I'm among a group of Asian woman the attitude about their man is different. They have complaints, too, but it's different in nature. Sometimes we poke fun at the quirky things our man does but in a loving way. We like the fact that they are so different from us and rather then get annoyed by the things they do, we just kind of laugh it off. If we are upset at our husbands it's only because he slacked off in his role but hardly is it ever because he forgot our birthday or didn't put the toilet seat down or said something in a tone that we felt was insincere. Things like that do not get us riled up. We understand that men and women are different so asking him to fully understand us is futile. If we're feeling sad about our relationship it's because we're worried that we did something wrong. In our culture, women aim to please their man and men aim to please their woman. If both are playing their role then both should be happy. If you are not getting the results that you want then you should change yourself since you can't change the other person.

Again, I have never been in a relationship with a non-Asian man so perhaps there are attitudes that I'm unaware of. And I am also speaking generally about the environment that I've personally observed. There are white women who are very good with their men (those usually holding traditional views), and there are also Asian women who are drama queens (usually ones that are more Americanized).

LOL! A few men might be fascinated with Asians, a few might be fascinated with Russian mail order brides, a few white women might be fascinated wit big black men. Stupid is as stupid does. Most go the route they go because they tried their own and make poor choices and end up getting burned again and again because they are idiots when it comes to their personal lives, thinking with their private parts rather than their brains.

Most people will choose a mate with similar values and similar looks because they want their children to look and act somewhat like them. They want their sons to play football and basketball rather than siring a 5' tyke who would rather play the cello. Whatever, dude, if it makes you happy go for it. Just don't think marrying an Asian girl gives you permission to bully and dominate as so many of those types of guys do.

I am considered an alpha male by caucasian women. I have dated the prety, the ugly, then thin and fat. I find that the caucasian women I've dated are too masculine in their ways. Over opinionated. (Having an opinion is great, but how about respecting the ones of others.) Back stabbing hypocrits. Overall whinging. Ball busting. Most of all, I find white women selfish. Everything revolves around them. (not my definition of sharing)

I find them great friends but poor partners.

My Asian girlfriend is not petite. She actually has a body similar to that of a caucasian woman. She is opinionated, but respectfull of others'. So pleasant to be around. Loves my masculinity like I love her feminity. A cool cat than can party. Loves to have a good time.

On a day to day basis, she is easy and pleasant to live with. Not because she does what I tell her to... Lollll to think that is proof of how much a person does not know the Asian women's character.

Reading the demeaning coments in this thread about men dating asian women contributes to one of the top reasons why I am disgusted with most caucasian women. They just cannot even begin to think that they are responsible 50% of the outcome of a relationship. They just rather insult and be demeaning because they cannot simply handle the truth... They need a shrink to tell them.

I find that Asian women are generaly better human beings.

Us white women (most of us) are getting what we deserve. We demasculate our men, turn our sons into whiny sissies, we want to control everything and everybody around us. I believe white men like Asian women better because they are just that, women. White women want to behave like men but be treated like women. I long for the days when gender roles were clear and concise, when women were applauded for wanting to raise families and take care of their men. but what is it about asian women? i do agree with the first comment on this thread....they do often age better. they are typically smaller and more petite which men are now programmed to prefer.
stereotypically they are much more into pleasing their man...like with massages and cooking. i'm not sure there is REAL truth to that, but i guess asian women who are more true to their culture and less-so to american culture are probably more likely to be doting mates than an independent (typically confused and hormone-ruled) american counterpart.

i can't help but believe that who we are attracted to, or at least, traits we are most often attracted to, are programmed or instinctual to some degree. there must be some overriding factor because i'm certainly not racist, but those i'm typically attracted to (and many people end up with those that have strikingly similar features!) look more like me. i can be attracted to others, but then, its very possible that along with with the differences my conscious self notices...that my subconscious self notices similarities, still.

You know, I get so tired of these kinds of threads...am half asian myself. When I think of my Asian mother, I remember a woman trailblazer who married outside her race, moved to a foreign country and raised children in a country where she had to learn to speak and be understood in another language. Many people mock immigrants with heavy accents, but really people, do you speak another language, too? When my husband first met my mother, he told me that he had a hard time understanding her accent and I said, "what accent"-lol...I was amazed, enchanted and fascinated by my mum...may she rest in peace :)
